Hatha Yoga

What is Hatha Yoga?
A unique combination of ancient and modern exercises for body and mind in a quiet, friendly setting suitable for clients who like a more gentle pace. We incorporate Yoga, Pilates based exercises, Tai Chi and Relaxation techniques.  


Why Hatha Yoga?
Because whatever your age, gentle Yoga can enhance your lifestyle through a multitude of benefits such as:
  • relief for problems such as arthritis and poor circulation
  • improvement of digestion 
  • raised energy levels
  • improved posture and balance
  • increase in strength and flexibility
  • retention of joint mobility
  • relaxation and de-stressing
Class Format 
  • Relaxation & Pranayama (breath control)
  • Postures and exercises
  • Balance
  • Yoga Nidra  (Deep Relaxation). 

What do I need?
Comfortable clothing, bring a mat and blanket if you have one. 

How much does it cost?
This class is booked by term, usually 7-8 weeks.  You can start at any time and pay the remainder of the term.  The fee works out at £ 6.50 per session.

About the teacher

Sessions are taught by Babs - a qualified Yoga and Fitness Instructor with many years experience. She understands individual, complex needs and is able to adapt her lessons to accommodate all students in an empathic, sensitive way.
